Weekend Group Run / Alpine Races Training Run on Sunday, July 28

Join us on a moderately paced 10 mile run through scenic Lake Zurich along the Alpine Races 10 mile course. A 3-mile option is also available.

    Park & meet at the Breezewald Park parking lot off Old Rand Road, just west of Main Street. Please bring your own water.

    If the Breezewalk Park parking lot is full, you may instead park along Main St., or any of the residential streets immediately north of the start. (Oak, Forest, Parkway, or Ash.)

    Post-run brunch will be at Koffee Kup - 30 E Main St.

    Barely walking through high school are welcome to join for a night of racing!


    Join the Fast Track Racing Team on Thursday night, August 1st at the Harper College track for a night of racing, fitness, and fun!


    Free event but t-shirts are available for purchase for $12.


    The distances offered are 100 meters, 400 meters, and 1600 meters (a metric mile). There will also be other goodies and food for the kids.


    Check in will begin at 6:00 PM, races start at 6:30 PM. Full schedule will be posted closer to the event once we know how many kids will be entered in each event.

    Important note: There is no parking at the track. Parking is in Harper lots next to baseball field and tennis courts only.

    Team Long Run on Sunday, August 11

    Long runs are the staple of any running plan. They are awesome in themselves, but are even better in good company.

    While Fast Track has always had self-organized long runs among runners of similar paces, this year we are bringing everyone together at Team Long Runs!

    Team Long Runs are held twice each month. From April through November, they are at Xtra Mile & Busse Woods. December through March they will be Xtra Mile and Barrington HS.

    The group naturally breaks into different pace groups and meets at a nearby coffee shop or restaurant for brunch after the run. Walkers are also welcome!
