Fast Track Racing Team is a Chicago area running club for all runners to share and continue their personal journeys and running experiences. Whether it's training, racing, pacing, or having fun, the team strives to inspire. The team operates collectively as a whole for the purposes of providing a fulfilling and enriching experience regardless of ability. Since becoming a team in 2009, Fast Track has netted CARA Team CHAMPION ("Combined Club" category) status in 8 of the 16 years we've competed in the CARA Runners' Choice Circuit, including the 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 seasons. We've also won the Men's Open Club Category in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022 and 2023 seasons.

Registration for the 2025 Team is now open!

Annual Dues: Membership costs $25 and is good through December 31, 2025.

Although centered in Schaumburg, runners from both the City and suburbs are welcome to join the Fast Track Racing Team. The strength of this team is the Power of the Group philosophy. Our runners train and compete in road races and marathons, as well as serve as pace leaders for many races, as a team.

Long runs are the staple of any running plan. They are awesome in themselves, but are even better in good company.

While Fast Track has always had self-organized long runs among runners of similar paces, this year we are bringing everyone together at Team Long Runs!

Team Long Runs are at a different location each time. We schedule them here on our Team's website and post reminders in the members-only Facebook group. Members are encouraged to RSVP on the Team's website.

The group naturally breaks into different pace groups and meets at a nearby coffee shop or restaurant for brunch after the run. Walkers are also welcome!

4-miler is primarily flat but has three small hills.

Top three Overall males and females will be determined by gun time. Age-group results will be determined by chip time.

Course includes two water stops near the 1.5 and 2.5 mile points. Water will be available at the start and finish.

There will be markers at each mile.

Gear check will be available (not responsible for lost items).

The race will be run rain or shine, but if there is lightning, it will be delayed or possibly canceled. If there is dangerous weather, you will be instructed what to do and where to take cover.
